These terms cover use of the surgehire.co.uk website, operated by Surge Hire Ltd (company no. 17316494), registered office Summerhill Cottage, Drovers Lane, Caerwys, Flintshire, CH7 5AP. They do not replace the separate signed Hire Agreement or Sale Invoice terms that govern any actual generator hire or purchase — those documents take precedence for any specific transaction.

Website use

This website is provided for the purpose of finding out about, and enquiring about, Surge Hire’s generator hire and sales services. You may not use it in any way that causes damage to the site or impairs its availability, or in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

Pricing and availability

Prices shown on this website are indicative and inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. They are correct at the time of publishing but are subject to confirmation at the point of quote, and may vary based on delivery location, hire duration, and equipment availability. Displaying a price does not constitute a binding offer — a hire or sale is only confirmed once we have agreed final terms with you and, for hires, a signed Hire Agreement is in place.

Quotes and enquiries

Submitting the quote form, messaging us on WhatsApp, or emailing us does not create a contract. It is a request for us to get in touch with a quote or further information. No obligation arises on either side until both parties agree final terms.

Hire and sale terms

Any generator hire is governed by our separate Hire Agreement, signed by both parties before or at the point of delivery, which covers deposits, hire periods, damage liability, insurance, and return conditions. Any generator sale is governed by the invoice and any accompanying manufacturer warranty terms. Where anything on this website conflicts with a signed Hire Agreement or sale invoice, the signed document takes precedence.

Liability

We aim to keep information on this website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee it is free of errors. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
